End of share buy-back program as at February 2, 2007 (PR0703)

With effect from February 2, 2007, Micronas Semiconductor Holding AG ended the share buy-back program that was initiated on February 13, 2006.

As part of this program, Micronas Semiconductor Holding AG repurchased a total of 2 973 500 registered shares via a separate trading line on the SWX Swiss Exchange. This is equivalent to 9.11 percent of the share capital of Micronas Semiconductor Holding AG registered in the Commercial Register.

The acquired shares were bought back and the withholding tax was deducted. The Board of Directors of Micronas Semiconductor Holding AG has decided to propose to the ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting on March 2, 2007, that these registered shares should be cancelled, with a corresponding reduction in the registered share capital.
